Today was all about animals. We set the day aside to go to a rescue
park so we could get up close and personal with the critters.
In the summer here, it is very difficult to really see them in the
wild. We have seen some Koala, wallaby and Kangaroo in the
wild, but from very far away.
Here's what we saw... |

This is the grey haired kangaroo |
We were allowed to feed them as well! Kangaroos were a lot more relaxed and calm compared to the crazy wallabies that chased us down for food! |

The main event, of course was the Koala Bears! |

And for an extra $15 you could hold one! |

We finished off the day with steaks on the barbie at our hotel. $350 for 2 porterhouse steaks!! |
