TRAVELING INTERNATIONALLY IN FLORIDA

As many of you know, we're usually on another continent or hemisphere this time of year. Since our passports are basically worthless right now, we've decided to travel internationally within Florida.

Got a cute AirBnB cottage with a pool to stay in. Today we went to the Ukraine and Portugal. Tomorrow we head to Switzerland!!!

Next was a visit to Blue Springs on our way to "Switzerland". Blue Springs in winter is a refuge for manatee to get away from cold water in the Gulf.

This is the most manatee I have ever seen in one place! 364 of them in a half mile stretch of river! This is the most manatee I have ever seen in one place! 364 of them in a half mile stretch of river!

We arrived in "Switzerland"  Geneva has a post office!

This is our home for 4 days. Came with great view of St John's River, personal hot tub and golf cart. And also a 4000ft landing strip for those who own their own planes. You know who you are!

It even has Scottish Highland cows, so you can say we went to Scotland as well!

Then there was a quick stop in Italy and then a hop over the border to Spain.

There is no barber in Seville!

And a great time in the Cayman Islands, but we took time to go back to Florida and play with a gator!

And then a deserved soak in the hot tub, Wendy's favorite thing!

Our next home was a hop over to Welaka,  a cabin on a lake with wood fireplace, full kitchen, 2 decks, grill and right next to pool and hot tub. Welaka has a population of 743, it's pretty small!

Barberville Roadside Yard Art Emporium. And then this place in Florida you can buy yard art of any shape or size including a huge range of weird mailboxes!

Today was a short jaunt to JAPAN!! A bit too cold at only 48F. Brrrrrr! Along the way we had lunch at Florida's oldest diner (very cute - Built 1932!).

Then stopped at an adorable little vineyard. If it warms up tomorrow we'll venture out again. For the rest of today we'll be enjoying the roaring fire with a blankie.

Today was a fun filled day of visiting Bahamas, and Spain!! That is Bimini and Andalusia.

We also found a Ghost Road, the remains of a brick road originally from Chicago to Miami - the original Dixie Highway.

Then we went to England! Did not see the battle of Hastings, but that was in AD 1066!
